Learn To Fly!

Phoenix, say hello! To Piper Warrior N612WT!

Welcome future pilot! Good job on being interested in considering learning how to fly! It is a challenging but extremely rewarding experience. You will learn to trust your training, your knowledge, your ability to think on your feet, and most importantly, your judgment to safely take off, fly, and land a plane with and without passengers. Not to mention the freedom that comes with flying, the bragging rights, or the fantastic community of general aviation pilots that you will meet along the way. This is a completely different experience than any you have ever had! Completing the training and getting certified as a private pilot (or any higher level certifications) is one of the most satisfying feelings!

You will be flying in a meticulously maintained and extremely reliable 1977 Piper Cherokee Warrior based at Stellar Airpark (P19) in Chandler, Arizona, a half mile west of the Chandler Mall.

It has an upgraded 180 HP engine that will allow you to plan your flight at 125 kts at 8,000-10,000 feet optimum cruising altitude.  A general rule of thumb to figure out how long it will take to fly to a destination with this plane is determine the amount of time it takes between the takeoff and landing points in a car and divide it by 2. That is a rough estimate how long it will take you to fly to your destination. By flying in N612WT, you are saving half of the time it would take you to drive! If you value your time, flying is the only way to go!
